4·2 months agoBlack eyed peas I love “Texas Caviar” style. There’s a few variations, but basically saute peppers & onions plus whatever other aromatics you like (celery, carrots, garlic, etc…). Add beans, southwest-type spices, some oil and water / stock. Bake until tender.

That is … a lot of butter per slice of bread!

Similar experience for me! I joined the co-ed service “fraternity” Alpha Phi Omega… they coordinated many different volunteering efforts and projects; but also had some social events for the members. Great way to meet kind-hearted people!
