I get that could be an issue but I’ve seen helicopters with much longer scoops flying about. Granted they were mostly military or fire rescue with similar design clearly meant to lift much more weight - hence why my thoughts went the route of weight limitations.
Is there a reason why the scoop has to be attached so close to the helicopter? Feels like just a couple of meters of slack could make a difference in performing that maneuver. Of course I’m not sure about the physics of it; extra weight, extra points of failure, but if it could save the helicopter and potentially lives of crew, surely it’s better for the scoop/attachments to fail so they can fight fires another day?

The amount of kids or at most early teens riding these around without any concern for the smalldick-sized-NA-cars makes me think we’ll see an uptick in deaths on the road real soon.
That being said screw all the fuckwits who race electric-anything on the dykes along rivers without a care despite no motor vehicles being allowed there. Assholes kick up loads of dust that you somehow need to avoid by covering your face with shirt/whatever you have and endanger everyone around them including regular cyclists and dogs.
Boring straight lines; easiest (cheapest) way to add infrastructure (not just roads, think water, sewage etc as well)…it’s all over NA, so why not in a popular tourist destination. Perhaps to attract some foreign investment into housing?

Of those currently affected, Valve would probably be the only ones who could potentially take them on with their lawyers. But that would completely depend on the contract they have with Visa/MC. Edit: slight side note, as the above may be interpreted in different ways. I’ve only ever bought Sunflower oil produced in Ukraine while in Canada, all of it has been high quality. Have seen some from Balkans (IIRC?) but it was cloudy so didn’t even bother trying it. Not saying it’s an inherent country of origin issue there, more like Walmart trying to find some cheap shit to make money off of. I think Italy was the only other country I saw as a source once and that was just ridiculously priced, mostly because it was mixed with olive oil.
