This fuckin’ guy, but like, 100% unironically. It was supposed to be for RTS and 4X games, but it’s amazing for FPSes, MMOs, and most anything open world:
They discontinued it by like 2003, so I keep buying up used ones to cannibalize for parts every time the microswitches start to wear down or a plastic piece gets a little too bendy or brittle. I should really just get a schematic and a BOM so I can source some spare parts from Mouser or something.
