it’s genuinely, in the real sense, radicalizing. you can be a doe-eyed social democrat who just wants to expand welfare programs and stop the mass liquidation of the entire working class, but if you don’t espouse blood and soil nationalism while you do it they will call you a tankie. there’s no way to win by playing their game.
