That joke makes me remeber the time I helped my friend move into his 8th floor condo. He has an oversized black leather sofa that didn’t fit in their elevator and we had to take it up the stairs and if it was any bigger it would not have made it up the stairs at all.
Each flight of stairs required us to remove the hand rail, slowly carry it up the flight, then precisely lift and pivot onto the next landing and ready for the next flight, replacing the hand rail, and repeating the process a total of 16 times. I told him that when he leaves that place the sofa is either leaving via the window, chainsaw, or sold with the condo.
My older brother watched Friends every single night, rerun after rerun. Ross and Rachel are the reason I immediately dislike any “will they / won’t they” plots when watching a new show.
I recently got into FRIENDS purely cuz it’s cozy. But it’s hard to reference it without looking a little behind.
“OHHHH ROSS AND RACHEL I GET IT NOW!!!”
I loved Friends growing up.
But it was of a different era and now many of their jokes make me uncomfortable.
The morals of characters in ‘Friends’ make me wonder why it’s ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Curb’ that are considered questionable.
Best joke was always “O Ill prove it! Ill prove it like a theorem!”
That one aged just fine. Ross’ character, not so much.
Wrong.
The best joke will always be piVOT

Gonna have to disagree, but yea that one is definitely a fan favorite.

There was some good writing in that show.
I rewatched it couple of years ago and I think it’s still funny and not that dated. The only thing I didn’t like was the laugh track.
