Erik Todd Dellums was allegedly dropped from Fallout 4 because he was talking about the game, albeit in a good way. Bethesda didn’t like what he was saying, so they dropped his character. I say allegedly because the character was never confirmed. However, he voiced Three Dog in Fallout 3, and one of the assassins in Skyrim, and his likeness was used in an NPC shown on a few loading screens, though we never got to see that NPC. An NPC who looks just like ETD is shown with a Brahmin (a pack animal in the universe, similar to an ox, but with two heads) and merchandise, implying that he was going to voice one of the traveling merchants (like Trashcan Carla, Cricket, and the others). Or maybe it was just a nod to Three Dog for no reason whatsoever. I don’t know.
But Elias Toufexis was too well known to voice anybody but Adam “I never asked for this” Jensen, and the Jensen trilogy is dead. The first one (pictured above) was good. The second one sucked, though some people enjoyed it. Most people seem to agree the game’s open ending was bittersweet as it pointed to a sequel that will never happen. That’s what he’s talking about. A whole new Deus Ex series, however? That is possible, it’s just exceedingly unlikely Toufexis won’t be a part of it (because fans wouldn’t be able to separate him from his prior role, it would be like casting Sir Patrick Stewart as a new Enterprise captain and saying “this isn’t Picard or anyone related to Picard, it’s a whole other dude who just happens to be played by the same actor, now stop comparing him to Picard.” They just wouldn’t do it in either case).
At least not starring Elias Toufexis.

And yet: RDJ as Doom.
