Solar Panel Complaints Prompt Action – Thousands of Texans say they were misled by solar panel contracts that failed to deliver promised savings, leaving som...
My dad hates solar and throws literally fits when he see panels on someone’s house. Doesn’t effect him at all. He lives in Texas so I wouldn’t be surprised if he made the complaints.
I remember when that was the normal not only Texas but everywhere. When I was kid it was normal to wave at passing cars, and your neighbors. Now everyone hates everyone else.
And can’t let people do what they want for themselves or their homes. Hell it doesn’t even effect them.
A lot of the people in my neighborhood are actually pretty friendly, in an idealized-small-town sort of way. But I live in one of those “scary” “inner-city” neighborhoods with The Blacks™ and The Gays™ and whatnot, so it’s a little different for me.
Meanwhile, my Boomer parents, who live out in the suburbs, complain that their subdivision has gone completely to Hell. Funny, that.
It felt genuine to me. The vibe I used to get from Texas was Republican by convenience. Republicans deliver a lot of what Texans wanted, and the weird annoying social conservative stuff was along for the ride. I always felt like most Texans really didn’t give a fuck if you were white black blue or purple if you kept to yourself and didn’t bother them

I remember when people in Texas prided themselves on minding their own goddamn business

Hood gays are the most ride or die people on earth
Do you? Or do you remember when they falsely claimed to mind their own goddamn business?

Thought it was a free country, these people would fit in with the Gestapo very well.
Is that a battery you are hiding under the floorboards?
