They were hacked. But they are in control of everything, and will get things back up.

a month after Autistici/Inventati / NoBlogs. and a shortly after NoBlogs, Tildeverse was also hacked not long after a user from there tried to reach out to the NuBlogs mirror via anarchistnews.
the US sure is lashing out this year.

The site got hacked. The hackers were just regular hackers and not politically motivated. They used some vulnerability in Mediawiki.
They are putting thought into the architecture which is why reinstating the site is taking time. Data wasn’t lost because they had backups.
