Pakistani Air Force fighter jets have already been used in attacks against the Houthis, a senior Pakistani military official Thursday morning anonymously told the New York Times on Thursday. Pakistan’s Information Ministry issued a denial of that claim later in the day.

The report came hours before several loud explosions were heard Thursday afternoon in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and reports said the kingdom’s main international airport, King Khalid International Airport, was struck again in an attack launched by Yemen’s Houthi.

Supposedly Yemen’s recognized government has made progress near Mokha (unless that is out of date or something) but Taiz is supposed to have been encircled in the meantime. The recognized government has a tiny enough population as it is without losing the third largest city to Ansar Allah, that would be a huge blow and also open up Aden. Pakistan and Turkey are helping Saudi Arabia but I think all of those don’t want to fight on the ground if they can help it.

Allegedly Ansarallah retreated to the mountains a bit because near the coast is open plains. The Saudi mercenaries went in for a photo OP, took shelling and then had to run away.
