Dropping bombs on Iran is just making them mad.

If THAT is NOT the GOAL then I’d like to hear what the goal is.

Iran has decided not to retaliate to these provocations.
Knowing Iranians restraint and experience in dealing with ‘the great Satan’ they will not bite because they want it.
They will calmly analyze the situation and hit when, where and how the US least expect it.

That is accurate for Iran, they have coherent policies and reactions.
What the US goals are one can only speculate.

Anyone in the US who vaguely gives a shit at all, please vote. If the machine changes your vote, correct it before you finalize it. It matters.

By all means vote, but don’t expect it to put a dent in the US’ bipartisan imperialism.

It’s like they forget that the democrats, prior to the Iran war when it was clear it was about to begin, were basically talking in circles and letting it happen. Because they didn’t want to be seen supporting Trump, but they just can’t help but love them a good war. https://responsiblestatecraft.org/democrats-trump-war-iran/

Two recent reports suggest that this lack of pushback could be intentional. A Tuesday story from journalist Aida Chavez’s substack Capital and Empire says top Democrats have worked to block consideration of legislation that would force members to go on record regarding potential military action against Iran.

“The evidence, so far, is that leadership is trying to discourage that vote,” one activist and former congressional staffer familiar with dynamics on the Hill told RS. “And the primary people that serve[s] are the few dozen Democrats whose donors are hawks, but whose voters don’t want regime change war. That’s who the party is trying to protect from having to take a vote, because it’s painful for those members to vote against their donors.”

Drop Site News reported last week that some Democrats on the Hill might support pursuing a military intervention in Iran but, understanding a war would likely be politically catastrophic, would rather not go on the record and instead let Trump and the Republicans bear the responsibility and the costs.
