That’s simply insane. ~13.1 miles (~21.1 km) at <57 minutes is such an incredible pace. That averages out to about 4:20 minutes per mile, or 2:42 minutes per kilometer.
Amazing.
That’s 13.8 miles per hour. Faster than my commercial treadmill can go. I’ve run a half marathon and mostly focus on 5ks and I even hobby runners won’t be able to sustain 13.8 mph for much more than a minute let alone 57…
Insane!
Right?? Even at my peak fitness, my fastest mile was about 4:10 and I literally puked after just doing one mile (and I definitely didn’t keep running afterwards). Here’s this dude maintaining that speed for 13 miles.
Here my upvote for going the extra mile (kilometrer) to provide both distance and pace in both metric and imperial.
Athens is going to know about their victory over the Persians in 490BC so fast
Damn, he beat the record by 42 seconds. That’s extremely impressive. I’d assumed it would be less then a ten second difference.
And here I am happy when I run 10 km in under an hour. Damn this guy is amazing
An incredible run… My best half is exactly an hour slower. And I’m pretty confident I cannot run one 4:20min mile.
I can run a mile in… holy fuck, never mind. My heart is going to explode. I ran how much? 20 yards?
Being old sucks.
Please tell me you’re mixing miles and km. Because that look an insane pace
will you please reLAX?!
