Not much of a difference from last week. Didn’t really get much play time, and what I did, spent pretty much all on Phoenix Wright.
Still playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations .
Just started the 5th case, which is apparently the last one. Loved all the cases till now, and the last one seems to be a great conclusion.
3rd case was really fun, at least the beginning.
spoiler
Also, I really hate Dahlia now.
Dropped Just Cause 3.
Liberated the first province, and most of the second province, but the difficulty level of remaining bases increased a lot. Many elite level enemies and lot more enemies. Doesn’t make the game too difficult, but I was just playing it for mindless blowing up stuff, so when I couldn’t do that anymore, didn’t want to continue playing it.
Should just get EDF for this mindless killing stuff.
Started Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
I wasn’t planning to start it anytime soon, dunno why I did.
I am only about 4-5 hours in, and for now it feels “Dragon Age” to me. Maybe it will change when I play more, but the level design and characters interaction etc. feel similar to Inquisition. Character models and visual styles are of course different, as well as combat, but playing the game feel like I am playing a sequel to Inquisition, not some other random game.
Plan to keep playing it as a secondary game.
On a separate note, Xenoblade Chronicles X got preloaded! Can’t wait for the release!
That’s all on my end. Unless I forgot some game again. What about all you? What have you been playing?
It’s been about 138h, but I actually finished Witcher 3 + all DLCs this week. I completed every single quest I came across, apart from the two ‘Collect all Gwent cards’ ones. It’s been quite a ride! I’d recommend the game for it’s characters, story telling and moral dilemmas. The gameplay was good too, although even on death march, it was quite easy - of course I was rich and somewhat overleveled from having done everything, so take that with a grain of salt. I finished at lvl 51 with the final quest being marked as lvl 49. Despite other claims, the Switch port was mostly good. Although, halfway through Blood and Wine, about 125h in, the game started to lag in fights with multiple opponents and never stopped doing so. I don’t know what happened, even the big bandit camps didn’t lag much before that.
Anyways, this weekend I’m going to start another run - this time doing a sign build! Last time I was focused on alchemy and basically only used Quen. There are so many gameplay options I never tried much and - nah, just kidding. I’m playing some Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, actually my first entry in the series, as a sort of palate cleanser and then grab a JRPG from my backlog.
lol, you had me for a moment. Restarting a game after playing it for 138 hours, oof!
Switch port is pretty great, except when you watch PS5 video and realise hoe beautiful the game is. Other than that, had no issue on Switch, it looks and play great (specially if toy never played the game anywhere else)
