Not much of a difference from last week. Didn’t really get much play time, and what I did, spent pretty much all on Phoenix Wright.
Still playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations .
Just started the 5th case, which is apparently the last one. Loved all the cases till now, and the last one seems to be a great conclusion.
3rd case was really fun, at least the beginning.
spoiler
Also, I really hate Dahlia now.
Dropped Just Cause 3.
Liberated the first province, and most of the second province, but the difficulty level of remaining bases increased a lot. Many elite level enemies and lot more enemies. Doesn’t make the game too difficult, but I was just playing it for mindless blowing up stuff, so when I couldn’t do that anymore, didn’t want to continue playing it.
Should just get EDF for this mindless killing stuff.
Started Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
I wasn’t planning to start it anytime soon, dunno why I did.
I am only about 4-5 hours in, and for now it feels “Dragon Age” to me. Maybe it will change when I play more, but the level design and characters interaction etc. feel similar to Inquisition. Character models and visual styles are of course different, as well as combat, but playing the game feel like I am playing a sequel to Inquisition, not some other random game.
Plan to keep playing it as a secondary game.
On a separate note, Xenoblade Chronicles X got preloaded! Can’t wait for the release!
That’s all on my end. Unless I forgot some game again. What about all you? What have you been playing?
Just confirmed Xenoblade Chronicles X was preordered: scheduled to arrive Friday after what should be a great week at school.
I’ve apply my time this weekend between the two Octopaths in my life: II is still slow going and Champions of the Continent is perfect for an hour wake-me-up. I finally realized what’s wrong (sort of) with Octopath Traveler II: the battle system is so slow compared to the mobile game. A single battle in an area where I’m properly leveled for takes a couple of minutes on the Switch with every decision made having an important impact. Most of the time, I don’t want to engage my brain!
I also played an ancient game on my old Mac: Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast. I wish that were on Switch!
Finally, I got the itch to play Gradius but did not want to shell out eight bucks with XCX on the way. I played the NES version through Nintendo Switch Online and couldn’t even make it to the first boss. That knocked the wind out of my sails enough to last me until next weekend.
