I saw Linkin Park in 2004. I don’t know how to better explain how life changing the show was than to explain the wild fucking situation I was in.

I was 14 years old and a friend of my parents invited me to see Linkin Park with them. I honestly didn’t put to much thought into it, it was fucking Linkin Park. So a week later my teenage heart was all a flutter preparing to sit in the same sold out arena as THE CHESTER BENNINGTON!

And I don’t know how many of you were teenagers in the early aughts but I was head to toe Hot Topic’d out, heavy HEAVY eyeliner, really caked on foundation that didn’t match my skin tone, red plaid Chuck Taylor High-tops, the whole thing.

And just as I was getting ready to leave my mother came in, pretty fucking fuming, telling me that I was lucky she was such a good mother or I wouldn’t go anywhere near THAT whore sleeping with her husband.

Soooo yeah, it was really fucking awkward the whole drive there. My autistic brain was panicking. I genuinely don’t remember parking, walking to our seats, or the opening bands. I’m 72% sure one the bands was Story of the Year.

But the minute Linkin Park hit the stage my whole body, heart, and soul felt that show. I literally started sobbing when they started playing Numb.

I don’t know how to explain it all other than saying my little 14 year old brain somehow knew I needed to set aside all do the bullshit and take everything in because I was experiencing something that was a one in a lifetime.

It’s not vets that are the problem. It’s private companies buying up small business vetrinarians and then raising prices at all of their clinics. This is made even easier by the fact that said company also owns all of the drug companies as well.

My state has a massive vet shortage because of this exact situation. A company came in and bought up all of the small vet clinics in town, those amazing vets left because they weren’t getting paid enough.

Now we not only have less clinics to choose from, and the ones we can choose from seem like different clinics but are actually the same business, but we also have no interest in professionals living and working here because they wouldn’t make enough.

Please stop blaming vets for something that is clearly the fault of greedy corporate billionaires.

I whole heartedly disagree. This is exactly what capitalism was designed to do. This is a prime example of late stage capitalism.

If this wasn’t how it was supposed to be then why have economists been predicting these inevitabilities FOR DECADES!

Capitalism has always relied on certain people having capital, and using the rest of society to produce said capital, or even better use the rest of society as their capital.

Arthur’s death scene in red dead redemption hit me so hard, even though I knew it was coming. The music, the build up. I was already a mess losing my horse. It was brutal and amazing, and now I play this game at least once every year.

The ending of this game absolutely blew my mind. I was super late to gaming so my husband had me play this. Watched me start to finish and when I got to the end reveal. I just… I just exploded basically.

I came here to talk about the driving in Arkham. The joker races where fucking ridiculous. I’m a patient gamer, not a good one, but patient. It takes A LOT to piss me off so bad I don’t come back, but driving in that game made me flip the table.

Where I live bears, moose, and mountain lions aren’t uncommon. But the one where I was the most scared was when I was parasailing in Hawaii and while I was wading in the water and GIANT whale breeched right near me. Like RIGHT near me. He swam right under me after and tickled my feet.
