13·3 months agoMicrosoft fired its entire QA team 10 years ago, and shifted the responsibility for testing onto developers. They also got rid of their dedicated hardware lab where software would be tested on many different hardware combinations.
That…makes SO much sense and explains a lot! Thanks for mentioning it.

13·4 months agoI found this page that says they removed that feature on mobile for some reason (ugh,) but if you scroll down there’s a possible workaround that may work for your purposes. You could swap out the Firefox shortcut on their home screen with an ‘open Google(.)com in Firefox’ shortcut.
Does anyone know the source of the art? I love it! (Even moreso because the little mushroom friend has a huge knife for some reason.)

Poor guy. My heart breaks for him. I hope people are understanding, compassionate, empathetic, and aren’t hateful and harrassing towards him about it, but, realistically… they likely will be hateful and harrass the poor dude, because some people are just sucky, entitled, and rude little jackasses (and I hate it so much and I don’t understand why people behave this way!) I hope he can find a way to handle it all okay. :(

The food bank gave us a bag of bulk bin pistachios and I’ve been wondering what to do with them (other than just eat them alone) since I’ve never bought them before. I’ll have to give that a shot! They gave us some dried cherries, too; I’m curious if they would be good in the oatmeal with the pistachios, maybe? Thank you for the ideas. :)
