Holy shit that’s scary
Unfortunately the best you can do at the moment is export your settings, create a new account and import the settings.
Actually moving an account is impossible because of the federated nature: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/1985
Federation has many benefits but this is one of the disadvantages.
However most mobile clients allow you to use multiple accounts at the same time. So I would suggest simply creating a second one and progressively start using the new one more and more until it’s your new main account.
Plus it’s kinda nice to have a backup account in case something happens to your home instance.
Policies objectively didn’t matter. I can’t find the link now but when they made people pick the policies they agreed with without knowing whose it was, the Dem policies won like 90%.
It’s all vibes and the cult.
Better than Tumblr!
I liked the Brony one.
You might still not. Make sure to look both ways when crossing the road.
Fuck it, I’m in!
Not VMs but I have way more docker containers. I run most things as containers which keeps the base OS nice and clean and free from dependency hell.
Yeah. Just about any code base will mature tremendously over 6 years.
Jpeg was only invented in 1992
And if I really really really wanted one in my browser (which I don’t but for the sake of argument) I’ll look for an add-on.
Same reason I don’t want my browser to filter or ban my content but I totally use unlock origin.
Most likely scenario in my opinion too.
Shrinkflation!
Must be nice having one or those free computers running on free electricity with free internet.
Yeah so many of the Republican scare articles have “don’t threaten me with a good time” energy.
One of the few highlights this season. I’m hoping it’s just the writer’s strike which caused this season to be so directionless and we get season 2 tier tv again next year
So much for “state rights” I guess.
