Eh. That’s actually a pretty standard thing journalists do. What it means is that Both of them are presidents of their respective country.
trump is basically copying putins own govt, install loyalist, have said loyalist constantly fight each other, so no one can oppose you, weaken the military/ economy to achieve the same effect, have your own secret police.
