“I won’t stand for it. Would we see the same reaction if the activists were far-right?”

Not at all, Liz, not at all. The far-right would use violence

She says this as if the far-right doesn’t constantly belittle, cuss out, diminish, put down, and spread falsehoods about their opponents and minorities

I’ve learned how powerful the unelected bureaucracy is. You have to win in November … you have to dismantle the leftist state … they are devious, they are ruthless and they are out to get you.

    Those are called voters.

Well, it also included bankers and other financial types, economists and captains if industries, classic leftist material and bureaucracy according to truss, who were all hearing the economic equivalent of “terrain beep boop pull up” from their instruments and started yelling for somebody to do something.

I felt a little bit sorry for her before I watched the video…and…hearing her say “It’s the economy, stupid” and then the banner…it’s a masterpiece. I can’t stop watching it 😁

[Truss complained that the British press wasn’t] “particularly deferential to politicians”

Why should they be? Their job should be to inform the public, not suck up to those in power.

Also she holds no political offices right now. She isn’t even an MP anymore. I think few politicians in the UK have demolished themselves this fast and spectacularly.

There was a bet at the time she came into office that she would last less than an iceberg lettuce because of her outrageous policy proposals. She lasted 45 days before the pension funds collapsed and she was replaced, meanwhile, the lettuce persevered in its side dish career.

          The lettuce.

It’s great because it started out as a sarcastic joke, but as her premiership progressed, there was a sense of dawning hilarity as we realised that she actually wasn’t going to outlast the lettuce.

So, these “far-left activists” according to Truss “intimidate people and suppress free speech”. By doing what exactly? Speaking freely? Isn’t activism such as this an example of free speech? No surprise there that she supports Donald Trump. Just another smug, privileged little shit that lives in the Upside-Down. 45 days to crash the economy is pretty impressive. And despite such a piss-poor performance, she is entitled to all the financial perks that come with being a former Prime Minister (perks that are quite substantial incidentally). The sheer bare-faced audacity of this turd utterly astounds me.
