That’s presupposing a LOT of information about aliens. What’s to say they even evolved eyes?
The universe is pretty big, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume other intelligent species have evolved eyes or equivalent structures. Heck, on earth eyes have evolved separately multiple times. It would be weird if aliens didn’t have eyes!
