Instead of listing all the bad things in the world, it would be nice to hear something positive for a change.
Are there still kind people out there walking among us? Someone who gave you a reason to keep moving.
You gotta take a risk. Show trust and you will receive it.
I’m not sure what type of trust you mean, but I trust other people are kind and honest because I am, or try to be as much as possible, few of us are perfect. It brings me a lot of joy to see friends or strangers happy. I don’t think I’m so unique that I’m the only one who feels this way. My mom dedicated her life to making the world better for as many as she could, her efforts in that is the main thing that keeps me motivated. She instilled love in me and it would be a shame to let it go to waste. I believe most people are trying their best to be decent, it’s not always easy in our modern hellscape. The few truly hateful and bitter people actively trying to create harm seem to me to be a minority.
I see little kind things all over, like someone running to a stranger’s car to give them a scarf they dropped. When I talk to people most know that the rich are killing us all, burning the earth, and they want to do more than just work to death, but no one knows where to start or are too burned out from just keeping alive as a working class person. Or they are so completely mired in propaganda that they think everything is as good as it could be so we shouldn’t rock the boat.
live in a place with harsh winters
My wife is an amazing wonderful human being and I do not think I would be alive without her. She is the only person who gets me and tries including all the things that make me feel like a freak.
Outside of that there are a bunch of people who I work with to try and make the area better. I have a QPP who is very caring and slowly getting more and more confident in themselves.
I’ve had doctors in my life who single handily undid all the shit the bad ones did.
My neighbor, when my dad was in the hospital she gave me $10 and gave me a ride to go pick up my meds. She’s a kind lady even if she’s kind of nosy lol
Most people I encounter on a daily basis have close ones. Friends, families, coworkers who like them. People who they consider best buddies and who they deeply love. This means most people are at least good towards a select few loved ones, and the main issue is not about people being intrinsically selfish/evil/bad but about society corrupting our souls towards each other.
if you dont trust people you die
You don’t. Every single person will inevitably disappoint you in some manner. Family, some random guy you met, it’s all the same. It’s part of being human and something you need to live with. There are people you trust more than others but you should never fully trust someone.
That’s why you should write a will that explicitly dictates your wishes. Or better yet, sort your affairs out while you’re alive.
