This is largely US propaganda. Buying into the China bad bullshit is US government funded propaganda. I believe it was just last year congress set aside around $1.5 billion for anti-China campaigns. The US government has never been the good guy, and it’s a little wild to me when liberals buy into the trash. It probably shouldn’t. US liberals are generally capitalism loving right wingers.

“Social credit”, the bullshit about Taiwan being “native territory”, trying to bully their way into territory expansion and their support of Russia kinda sets a specific tone, doesn’t it?

Fuck that Chinese dictatorship and all the fucking Internet shills that can’t help but suck CCP dick.

It’s super easy to get to the bottom of propaganda articles without knobbers like you starting shit wherever they can.

This ain’t about “US good” or “China bad”. I am just calling out that dumbfucks like you are 90% of the problem with how people from different countries perceive each other. Did you really aim to convince anyone of your beliefs? I don’t think so.

Go back to .ml where you belong.

China has a democratically elected government.

Yes, North Korea as well. God, these liberals are so stupid.

Welp, since we have gone down that path, I think this liberal talking point is hysterical: https://youtu.be/K9AF6OtHtYs

(The above even includes a hair of excessive drama that is even a bit much for me.)

I await your wall of URLs of counter points, hopefully mixed with some deflection and tie-ins to political affiliation. According to your brethren on ml, the issues with these cities were resolved two years ago…

Also, did you notice which community you are in?

Heh. This isn’t really doing much for me. The giant argument against China is they built too much housing? I generally avoid these discussions as there’s no way to cut through all the shit that’s been thrown at the wall. The liberals will keep rooting for their shitty oppressive system while the minority that sees through it hopes for something better for the next generation. I commented right before sleeping, whoops! The government has an insanely high approval rating, according to Harvard, but I have busy day ahead of me and regret commenting in a community that basically does nothing but bitch about socialists. Hope your day is swell.

Really? I wouldn’t call it a success, seeing how it collapsed. Also it was horribly authoritarian. I don’t think you and I are ever going to get along.

From illiterate to space bound in 50 years. It was absolutely a success. I’m guessing you don’t really know much about the USSR. You were force fed the idea that socialism is bad in school and it stuck, like most poorly educated Americans. The truth is socialism produces results very quickly. The people working for the people, rather than some shitty corporation. The USSR went from around 10% of the population being literate to 80% within 10 years. It was an incredible success. There’s plenty of information out there regarding the CIA basically just making shit up. The usual US propaganda that we now see with any country that shows socialist values today, such as China. We wouldn’t want the working class rising up.

I think socialism is good actually. If you think that’s what the USSR was doing you drank the Kool aid.

Edit: also: I’m not an American, good job making assumptions about me.

There were significant changes throughout, but from what I’ve read, the early years were pretty magical. From illiteracy to space bound in 50 years is nothing to scoff at. Stalinism is very controversial, indeed.

Do you value diversity, equity, and inclusion? Do you like having the ability to freely talk about ideas which might challenge The Party? Do you enjoy free and fair elections?

If your answer to those questions is “no” then your value system is quite at odds with the average Western Liberal. Liberals love liberalism. China doesn’t like liberalism. It’s pretty obvious why there’s friction between them, no propaganda required.

Of all the shitty responses, this one is the best. You’re wildly naive. You buy into the political theatre. Good stuff. Liberalism doesn’t give a shit about your DEI. There’s no such thing as ethical capitalism. China has a long way to go, but it’s improving the quality of life of its citizens by moving towards socialism. What’s the US doing? War crimes, meddling with elections, bending over for billionaires. Sounds nice! Liberalism has never, and will never be for the working class.

This bill authorizes activities to counter the malign influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and China’s government.

For the purposes of this bill, malign influence includes acts to (1) advance an alternative and repressive international order that bolsters the CCP and China’s hegemonic ambitions; or (2) undermine the national security, economic security, or sovereignty of the United States or other countries.

So it says it was passed to counter act Chinese propaganda.

Yeeeeep. I’m sure that’s what it’s being used for. You’re not familiar with the US history of meddling with elections and going to war in the name of capitalism? Vietnam ring a bell? Congo? Venezuela? Korea? I’m not sure why anyone would believe anything coming out of this country. Well, truthfully most don’t. Just the ignorant citizens.

Are you aware Donald Trump is a Russian asset?

Are you aware China and Russia are allies focused on removing the US so they can control the world instead?

Meanwhile sane people don’t want a boot on the neck of humanity.

It doesn’t matter what fascist dictatorship controls the boot, the existence of the boot is the problem.

A government consisting of the people is a boot on the neck how? We’re certainly not represented in this “democracy.”

China not being Russia’s enemy is somehow worse than the US supporting Israel? Last I heard China wasn’t supplying weapons in the proxy war.

The last war China was even part of was back in the late 70’s. The US has been part of like 10 wars in the open, and countless covert ops since then. I think it’s time the libturds opened their eyes and turned off the billionaire-owned media. The China-bad bullshit is gross and often racist.

Hot take: They, and a few more are all massively bad at their political core. They all have good, suppressed citizens at the bottom.

All the global superpowers commit warcrimes against humanity. It does not matter who is the comparative worst.

Smaller billionaires don’t become ethical in the shadow of bigger billionaires

Every single global crime against life should be known and talked about.
