What are they up to now?

I was always bummed they didn’t become a bigger thing, like a book or series.

I’m honestly not sure. Nick didn’t publish anything for like 10 years but then some more comics tickled out for a while and stopped again. Maybe there’s an interview somewhere.

I get it. I was the same way with YouTube videos until I decided I just didn’t want to do them anymore. I would do them in spurts of creativity. (Get your mind out of the gutter!)

I mean judging by the cast, he could have used his upper body strength to get in the regular cloud death swing. But I guess it’s cool Aranaktu is thoughtful enough to include accessibility.

Probably not, because contrary to what video games would indicate, water does not prevent all fall damage.

So the older video games told me the truth! - that the slightest contact with any body of water is instantly fatal from any height.

You might be able to get away with just broken legs if you landed right. Then you’d be in the middle of the ocean was broken legs.

A cloud descenda out of the sky and offers a rainbow swing to sit on and fly away. The only way a sane person would ever ride on that, unprompted and unprepared to see such a thing, is if there was a charm or mesmerizing effect happening. These folks stood no chance. The clouds showed up and Aranaktu welcomed them all.

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

The rules are simple:

  • The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author’s website, for instance).
  • The comic must be a complete story.
  • If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
  • You may post comics from others or your own.
  • If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
  • The comic can be in any language, but if it’s not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post’s ‘body’ field (note: you don’t need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
  • Politeness.
  • Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.
